Skin79 BB Creams Review and Swatches

Every company and their mothers seems to have jumped on the BB cream wagon during these past years, but today I am going back to the roots, reviewing some of the originals, Asian BB Creams.
I have tried many many versions of both Asian and `western` BB creams in the past and I do believe and consider them to be two separate categories.
WishTrend were kind enough to send me a few samples to test and try out and here`s my thoughts:

One of the most famous Asian BB cream brand is Skin79, and that`s what I am going to review today. I have loved their original Hot Pink BB Cream for years, and this time I got a chance to try a few more from their now extensive range.

The main problems I have with Asian BB Creams is the color  I`ve said it and I am going to say it again. I am relatively light, a MAC NC20 for reference, and I still have issues matching most asian BB creams out there. I find I tend to favor them during the cold season, when I my skin is lighter and I actually look forward to their thick, denser consistency to protect me from the much harsher elements.

My favorite has to be, hands down, the now famous Hot Pink Super Beblesh Balm. The color is a close match but I love to use it as a base or just mixed in with my foundation. Coverage is medium, which is a nice thing and makes more versatile and easier to work with.
I have come to appreciate this BB cream this past week, when well, long story short, had some maaajor skin problems and a few wounds. I have used this during the day to cover and protect my face along with some more heavy duty foundation for extra coverage on top. This BB cream worked miracles. It`s so soothing, neutralized redness and managed to cover and protect my sensitive damaged skin.

I wish each type of BB cream had more than one color selection. At this point I have difficulty wearing all of them as their colors are different and a few can leave that white cast due to the high SPF content. In that case my advice is, use it as a primer. Or mix with with regular foundation. Wishtrend also has those sample kits, with decent amount of product, that gives you an opportunity to try a few products out, see what you like and which one matches before ordering a full size one.

I liked all of these BB creams, Skin79 has to be one of my favorite brands. The main difference and limitation has to be the color, as far as it concerns me.

Diamond Collection Pearl Luminous Beblesh Balm is also worth a mention as it is super illuminating. I like to mix it in with my foundation or BB cream for that super glowy highlighting effect.

This is what the pink one looks on me.
