I am on the hunt for the perfect Nude Lipstick and let me tell you it`s proven to be a harder task than I`ve expected. It`s so hard to find something that looked natural, doesn`t wash you out while toning down your lip color.
I picked up Essence In the Nude because well, I liked the swatch, ingredients looked okay and it`s so cheap! (2.99) The formula is hydrating and pigmentation is okay. It applies with ease and looks beautiful alone or with a gloss on top. The first ingredient is castor oil making this a very moisturizing lipstick but I do have to say you need to be generous with it in order to get full coverage. Wear time is about 3 hours for me, not a long lasting lipstick, but I can`t say it bothered me. It felt comfortable and I'll take that any day over a dry long wearing formula.
Overall, I am quite impressed with this lipstick. For the price you get a very decent product and the colour suits me well, which is what I was after.
