One of my favorite lipsticks, MAC`s Girl About Town is a darkened fuschia. I love wearing this lipstick when I want a bit of drama without going all out there. It definitely stands out but it's not a over the top kind of color. I find the color to be especially flattering on me during the winter time, as I love how it stands out against pale skin.
This lipstick is part of the Amplified range, which happens to be my favorite formula in MAC. It has the perfect pigmentation/hydration ratio, looking completely opaque in two swipes and feeling incredibly comfortable on the lips. It lasts reasonably well on the lips without staining or drying them out during the day. It also stays put, doesn't feather and travel, so it's a great color to wear during the day without having to worry about checking up on it and retouching it constantly, as it happens to me with bright colors.
Overall, I love everything about this lipstick: colour, pigmentation, wear and lasting power. Thumbs up!
