Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising and Brightening Cream Review

I have been very familiar with the Wild Rose Oil, since I was a little girl. Also known as rose-hip (rosa canina) was wildly popular in Europe and renowned for it's many health and beauty benefits. My mom loves using it for wrinkles and to help fade age spots and improve skin elasticity. I used it for years on and off, but the oil part made it slightly impractical at times, so imagine my excitement when I was given the chance to try out the famous Wild Rose 24 Hr Moisturizing and Brightening Cream from Korres.

am so happy to finally have this amazing brand here, in Canada.

The moisturizer has a wonderful light yet very creamy texture. It reminded me of all those natural fancy European Creams my mom and grandma used to use back home. It has a subtle, natural in a way, scent. The cream is very light yet very hydrating. I need to massage it in for a good 30 seconds and then my skin slurps it up. This was a GOD -sent in those awful winter months. It calmed my parched, dry,  cracked skin, it felt soothing and it left me with smooth hydrated skin all day long.
I had no problem wearing the cream under make-up and it makes for a wonderful night-time moisturizer.

Despite it being a very hydrating product it never ever felt or left my skin greasy or oily. It absorbs really fast and all I am left with is smooth, plump skin.

The cream also claims to help improve spots, like I mentioned before, the wild rose being so rich in Vit C is renowned for helping complexions. The improvement I have seen is subtle, but it definitely helped rev up my blotchy skin. I don't suffer from major acne but I have the weirdest complexion and every blemish I get leaves behind a spot for months.

Overall, I really enjoyed this moisturizer. It feels, smells and performs wonderful. It makes for an ideal winter product for me and it could help those with dry, dehydrated or dull skin.

And here are some pictures from the event we attended in January, where Lena Korres, founder of the brand came to Montreal to talk to us about the brand, the philosophy behind it and their wonderful products.
