Oh! I gasped when I first saw this blush. And I gasped again in delight when I saw it on. This blush has been such a mind opener for me. I would have never dared to come close to such a vibrant colour and I would have never imagined being able to wear it. I took a chance and boy, am I glad I did!
The color is indeed as vibrant as it appears in the pan. Desire is a matte cool pink.
The pigmentation, like most Nars Blushes is amazing and surprisingly true to pan. The texture is on the stiff side and I find it slightly powdery, which is a good thing in this case. This is a blush you need to dust on and I need my brush to pick up minimal amounts of the product. I actually like applying it with a fan brush, dusting it on my cheeks on top of another, more subtle blush. Desire can add dimension and that extra ooomph some blushes lack. I am very pale and could never wear this on its own, it`s not a natural colour for me and it looks too bright and in-your-face. I am addicted to layering it (in minute amounts) over something like MAC Peaches to help my cheeks pop.
