Yeah, I am super late on this, but I finally hopped on the Maybelline Vivids bandwagon. I only have two lipsticks of the line and I have a feeling I'll soon be owning the entire collection. I'll cut to the chase: the hype is true.
The lipsticks are any make-up junkie's dream: creamy, pigmented, opaque, great, lovely range of colours and... drugstore brand with drugstore prices. Hells ya!
885 Vibrant Mandarin is a lovely coral orange. It glides on the lips with so much ease, it's pigmented and rich and has a wonderful glossy finish.
860 Pink Pop is a bright Barbie pink. While I can't help but love the colour, because, you know, I'm a girl... I'm having a hard time pulling it off when I wear it on its own. The colour payoff is good, it's creamy and it has a satiny finish that manages to look glossy rather than frosty, which, in my opinion, saves this pink.
I find the scent to be strong, and that can bother some, but aside from that... I really want to try out all the other colours from the line.
