Birthday Haul: Montreal L'Oreal Warehouse Sale Spring 2014

Friday Alexa and I decided to go on yet another beauty adventure and do some birthday shopping at the L'Oreal Warehouse Sale, here in Montreal.
We are both celebrating our birthdays this week and figured it's a great excuse to take advantage of the sale and haul all sorts of beauty goodies.

We decided to go on a weekday, before work, early in the morning. There was no line and given that this was the first week of the sale we hoped to improve our chances in finding lots of awesome LE products, before they sell out. We were both surprised to see L'Oreal changed and improved the setup, the space was bright and clean and much better organized. Much much better than previous years.

Well, let's get to the goodies. This is what I picked up:

The main reason I wanted to attend this sale was to stock up on my all time favorite perfume: Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb. This gift-set was priced at C$87 which is quite a bargain as it includes a 1 oz Eau de Parfum Spray, a Rollerball and a full sized body lotion.  Naturally, I got two.

L'Oreal's Infallible Eyeshadows in Amber Rush and Pepsy Coral C$3.00 ea

Lancôme In Love Eyeliners in Jade Crush and Deepwater Blue C$9.75 ea.
I loved this collection when it came out last year and was couldn't pass up these gorgeous eyeliners, especially at that price.

Lancôme 'Aquatic Essence' Eye Palette  C$14.75 A lovely palette with stunning eyeshadow. I can see it be my go to palette this summer.

Lancôme Long Wear Calligraphy Gel EyeLiner C$6.75 Given that these retail at C$28 I had to grab them in three stunning colors: 100 Downtown Blue, 500 Emerald Seductive and 300 Violet Stylista.

Lancôme Teint Idole Fresh Wear C$12.75 It took me forever to pick out two shades that I thought would match but I had to take advantage of the price.. Review coming soon.

Vichy Aeratint Creme C$4.75 I am not sure why this item was priced so low, but I guess I'll find out soon. I tried the foundation and I liked it.

After the sale we stumbled into Walmart where I picked up a few items I had my eye on.

Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes in Art in the Streets, I'm His Breezey and Walking on Eggshells.

I can't wait to put the new 5 pan shadows to the test and see how they hold up. The colors are stunning.

I also picked up a Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer. Alexa raves about it so of course I had to try it out.

That's it! I declare this a successful haul! Happy Birthday Alexa and thanks for joining me on all these fun beauty adventures!
