Saint Barts Soleil Instant Vacation Collection
Island Beauty Face Compact
Yet another cool looking compact powder from mark. This Island Beauty edition features a warm highlighter, a rosy blush and a coppery bronzer. The powder has a weird, almost sealed, texture. Picking up product both with my bare fingers or brushes was next to impossible. I had to scratch the surface to be able to pick up some product. The highlighter is slightly powdery in texture and has a warm frosty sheen. The blush is a rosey coral. It's a pretty colour but I dont's see how one can manage to apply it and blend it out given the hard time I had with picking up and depositing the colour on my arm for the swatch. The bronzer has a frosty subtle sheen and a copper undertone... I could see myself reaching out for this in the summer as a tan enhancer but again, the texture left a lot to be desired. I tried swirling my brush in the entire product and eventually it gave in and I was able to build up some colour... all three shades come together as a warm wash bronze, yeah, that's the best way to describe it. God, I want summer to come NOW!
Overall, pretty in the pan but you need to work to get those colors to show up on the skin. It could be great for heavy handed gals.
