MAC x Osbournes and Alluring Aquatic: Kelly Yum Yum and Mystical Review and Swatches

Today I finally made it into a MAC store, after what it seems like ages. I've made it a tradition to pick up at least one item from each summer collection, and this year's Alluring Aquatic was the talk of the blogosphere with their stunning 3D water droplets packaging and I got a somewhat unconventional color for me: Mystical, a darkened rosey shade. The colors is a darker version of my lips but better type of shade, it`s muted and classy. It has medium pigmentation with a creamy texture, despite it being a Cremesheen, which was never my favorite finish. It wears well and didn`t feel drying on the lips. I have to say I found the shade to be an odd selection for a summer collection, I can see this as a fall shade.

Today was also the day The Osbournes collection launched in stores and despite not being particularly interested in the collection, I couldn`t help but try on Kelly Yum Yum and see how it compares to the famous Candy Yum Yum, shade I love but can`t manage to pull off to save my life.  Kelly Yum Yum is a bright cool pink/fuchsia, it has a lovely creamy texture and shiny finish. It has incredible pigmentation and as expected it packs a punch. It`s very long wearing and it stains the lips (a LOT) but it felt surprisingly comfortable. I cannot recommend this shade enough.
