Orange is indeed the new black! It is THE summer color and I firmly believe every woman should own at least one bright, bold orange lipstick. It's a staple.
This summer there was room for just one orange lipstick in my heart. It's perfection. Meet Clarins Juicy Clementine. I'm digging the gold/clear packaging, simple, sturdy and makes me feel very lady-like. Fancy.
The formula is love at first swipe. Creamy, buttery, delivering the right amount of pigment and shine with each swipe. The color is sublime: bright, bold and perfectly orange. I find this lipstick performs best when paired up with a lip-liner, it will help pigmentation and wear. Especially wear. Besides, you can tweak the color and virtually get any shade of orange you crave, use a red liner for a bright coral, an orange liner will help make the lipstick pop, a pink will soften it... the sky is the limit, really.
