Yesterday I had the pleasure to attend the Estée Lauder Spring Summer 2015 media preview here, in Montreal. We got to see the new collections coming out from the brand soon, the new products they are introducing and see them in action along with a few 3 minute beauty techniques, Estée Lauder herself was famous for. Estée Lauder's makeup artist extraordinaire Genevieve Meneyan talked us through the new products, the technology and thought behind each one and gave us tons of 3 minute beauty tips and tricks.
First up, the futuristic meets 60s makeup collection that had Instagram buzzing, created by Courréges for Esteé Lauder. The collection features fake lashes, powder gelée textures in both eye and face formulas, a white eyeliner, a giant fluffy white kabuki and lip products, all housed in futuristic, unique packaging.
The Pure Color Envy Shine lipstick line is expanding with new shades being added to the range. The Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencils are now waterproof and have a smudging tip along with an updated collection of incredible shades.
I`m sure you probably know by now that Kendall Jenner is the face of the company and their new product that has everyone on social media up in a frenzy: the Little Black Primer. This original products can be used as a lash tint, as a primer or to transform any mascara in a waterproof one. Think of it as a styling accessory for you eyelashes.
The Perfecting Loose Powder, an incredibly fine looser powder that ``sets and perfects your makeup``. This powder is very finely milled, making it undetectable once applied to the skin and has golden undertones (think banana powder) which can make it once again undetectable once on as it blends perfectly with the skin`s undertone.
I saved the best for last; the collection we`ve all been waiting for: Bronze Goddess Shimmering Nudes Collection for Summer 2015! I will have a separate post for this collection because it deserves it.
We also got a brief introduction to new skincare launches from the brand, including the Re-Nutric Ultimate Diamond Sculpting/Refinishing Dual Infusion which features the rare and fancy black truffle extract.
