Make Up For Ever's new mascara Smoky Stretch claims it will take your lashes to new lengths. Formulated with Locust Tree Alginate Jelly to define and separate lashes and Silk Protein to elongate and volumize lashes, a revolutionary molded comb brush and an intense black pigment it's promises to give your clump and flake free long and separated lashes.
The mascara comes in a black sleek tube and the brush is tapered and has short bristles. The slim, precise brush makes it easy to grab every single lash and it holds enough products to cover it from root to tip. The formula is great, creamy and easy to build. This mascara gives more length than volume but I love how easy it is to be precise and fan out the lashes without any messiness or clumping. The formula easily builds on itself which allows me to build more volume without getting that dreaded spider leg effect. The lashes feel soft and flexible and look very natural. The formula wears very well on me and I noticed no smudging or flaking through the day.
Overall this is a good a mascara that will give you clean, natural looking long lashes that can be built up for more volume. It wears well and comes off with ease at night. I like the simplicity of the wand and formula and I find myself reaching for this mascara often for that day to day look because it makes me look like I have great long luscious lashes without feeling heavy or looking too dramatic.
