I recently received the new range of metallic fringe top coats from AVON and although I personally find it an odd release for summer I was intrigued by them given that they looks so stunning in the bottles. I have five bottles in my possession:
Tasseled Trim (purple and silver)
Fringe Effect (black and gold)
Jacquard Metal (blue and gold)
Fringed and Frayed (white and gold)
Frayed Edges (white and silver)
I went for the Jacquard Metal topcoat over one of my all time favorite polish from Revlon, Wild Card. The topcoat has blue and gold "fringe" particles, although when applied it is the gold that catches the light and stands out.
I personally find these top coats a bit odd to wear during summer, I could see them more appropriate for the holidays given the heavy shimmer. That's just me.
