#OsheagaEssentials: Festival Make-up with essence

Osheaga is around the corner and I teamed up with essence and CanadianBeauty Bloggers network to help you with the make-up part, because let's face it, it's just as important as your outfit and accessories.  I have been a long time lover of essence, this drugstore brand has incredible prices and the quality is fantastic.

I used one of the 3D eyeshadows all over the lid as a base and  subtly deepened the crease with the darker color. I lined my eyes and used both Lash Princess and Get Big Lashes on my lashes. The combination of these two mascaras is incredible, my lashes looked like falsies. Then I used their Long Lasting Eye Pencil (17) to line my lower lash line. I've had this pencil before and the formula is fantastic as it lasts all day long. Tried and tested; so you won't have to worry about smudging to fading through the dancing and the sweat.
I decided to keep the face pretty light given that it's a music festival and you'll be out all day dancing and running around in the sun or rain or both, it's Montreal after all. I applied my favourite SPF moisturizer and followed up with the It Cosmetics CC Cream to even things out and add an extra layer of protection. Then I used the Sun Club bronzer to contour and and strategically bronze my face, a touch of Silky Touch blush to give my cheeks some life and finished it all with a light dusting of All About Matt powder to make sure everything stays put all day. On my lips I used two of the Longlasting Lipsticks, a nude (15) all over the lips and a mauve (9) on the edges to create a soft ombre effect and make my lips appear fuller. These lippies are incredibly long lasting and very comfortable to wear, go check out my individual review if you want to see more colors swatched.
I let my hair do its thing and air dry, I think it had the perfect boho feel to it so I just let it be.

You can find essence at Pharmaprix or Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.
Who's going to Osheaga and who are you excited to see? I am so excited Banks is going to be there on Sunday, I hope I can go see her.
