Gosh's new addition to the Velvet Touch lipstick line features a matte formula that promises to deliver a long lasting pure color with a matte finish.
The lipsticks are indeed very pigmented, a single swatch delivers full on coverage and rich color. The lipsticks are a little on the dry side and they can tug at the lips slightly during application. The finish is completely matte. When worn the formula feels comfortable on the lips, it's hydrating enough to make this lipstick comfortable to wear and the color lasts pretty well on the lips. I've worn through a full day of work and only had to retouch after lunch.
All in all this is a matte formula done right. I love how pigmented these lipsticks are, they have just the right amount of hydration to make them feel comfortable and they wear really well through the day.
