Big lips are all the rage right now and I can't help but be intrigued by all the products and techniques out there that promise to give you a plumper, juicier pout. Today we're going to take a look at
Soap&Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL volume lip gloss. The formula features LIPSWELL natural flower oil infusion and glassy-shine technology. The formula also features this 3XL-PEPTIDE PLUMP which has been shown in in-vitro tests to help increase the levels of hyaluronic acid, support fat cells and give and auto plump built-in cushioning effect. Whoa! That is a lot on information on a gloss!
The product looks like a traditional lipgloss and much like any other gloss will automatically enhance the appearance of your lips once you put it on. About five minutes into wearing it I noticed a tingle of sorts. This wasn't you typical peppermint gloss tingle, I guess the best way to describe it is that my lips felt like they've fallen asleep. You know the feeling... There was a cool feeling to it and my lips seem to look plumper and rosier. Now, I am not sure this was all in my head or my lips just felt bigger because of the tingling nor am they appeared to be bigger just because of this gloss in particular so I decided to snap pictures every couple of minutes and see if I can see a difference.

Now, let's be real. This gloss didn't actually enhance the size or volume of my lips. If there is a difference between minute 1 and 20 I, for one, can't see it. However when I asked people around me (bf, sis, co-workers) they all agreed that my lips did look plumper. My sister, blunt as she is, pointed out that I might have also puckered my lips more when wearing this gloss, I swear the tingling makes you feel like you have Gigi Hadid's lips and you kinda end up doing the whole sensual duck lips whether you want to or not.
I guess I don't have a clear verdict on how well this product actually works but I do like the effect it gives and it makes me feel like I have plumper lips when I wear it. I don't find the tingling particularly enjoyable but I do find myself wearing this gloss out for special occasions simply because it makes me feel sexier.
