Today's #ManiMonday post is a little bit different, I don't just have one nail polish to share with you but an entire range of them. Today we take a look at essence's The Gel Nail Polish collection.
The collection features a base and top coat that are absolute miracle workers. I've been a fan of the nail polishes themselves for years but I do have to say that the combining them with the top and base coats does take them to the next level. The colors are pigmented and vibrant, most of them are two coaters, pack a lot of shine and last for days with little to no chipping or tip wear. All colors performed excellently and they are all beautiful on their own. The range features a nice variety of vibrant shades, pastels , glitters and cream colors, all having a great consistency and pigmentation. I do think the top and base coat made a huge difference in both the look and durability of the nail polishes, the top coat didn't shrink nor did it dull over time. Seriously, five days into it and my nails look as fresh as they can.
I can't recommend these bad boys enough. The entire line performed so great it's hard to believe this is an incredibly affordable drugstore brand.
