Pür Minerals Epic Illusion Contour Kit Review and Swatches

Pür Minerals Epic Illusion Contour Kit

The first thing I like about this palette is the sturdy, well built packaging. It`s sleek, has a nice weight to it giving it that luxe feel and it has a great full mirror inside making this palette very travel friendly. Inside you`ll find 6 pans of powders that promise to have all your highlight and contour needs covered.
Starting with the top left shade, Unreal, is a cream colored shade with a soft sheen to it and no sparkle. The shadow has a soft luminosity to it making it ideal for a soft highlight and/or baking.
Fable is a warm bronzer with a soft sheen to it making it less ideal for contouring and more appropriate  for bronzing and warming up the face.
Bluff is a muted peachy pink again with that soft, luminous finish to it. The color looks very natural, letting the skin show through and without being overwhelming. Great day to day blush.
On the bottom row, starting from the left we have Legendary, which is more of a true highlight with some pink undertones and a soft shimmer. It's subtle and not overwhelming.
Fiction is a matte brown that works better for contouring the face despite it being a tad too warm for my liking.
Mauvelous is a mauvey blush with a satin finish. This blush packs more of a punch and works great to give you that flushed effect.
Overall, this palette is decent. I love the packaging and the variety of shades included making this a great palette to travel with. The quality of the powders is there but the color selection might not be a home-run for everyone but you are bound to get that whenever you go for this type of universal palette. My one criticism is the size of the individual pans, I find them too small to accommodate most of my brushes and which can be quite limiting.
