Jouviance GlycoLaser Soft Peels Range Review

Last fall I was invited at the Jouviance headquarters along with a few other bloggers to discover their new GlycoLaser range. The new line aims to promote a soft peel with a slow release action that's gentle on the skin. The products features a new slow releasing glycolic acid combined with various ingredients and aim at helping skin shed dead skin cells and stimulate the cell renewal process revealing brighter looking skin and fighting signs of aging.

I've had plenty of time to test out the products and be able to talk about my experience with them. Reviewing skincare is always tricky for me. Let's face it, most of the times I am testing multiple products because I am a blogger and it's hard to see major results especially since I have always taken good care of my skin and I am relatively young. My goals are to to keep this good skin thing going for as long as I can and make the best of it. I think having good skin is like solving a puzzle, there are so many pieces that can come together to help you keep a fresh, young looking complexion. Diet, exercise, hydration, stress reduction, lots of sleep and good skincare are the key elements to having good skin in my opinion and experience. When it comes to skincare I am a huge fan of exfoliants, my skin is happy when I exfoliate religiously, it just takes in any treatments, lotions and potions so much better.
The GlycoLaser range features four products. The Soft Peel Lotion 10%AHA+BHA is my favorite and I am happy and sad to report I have almost gone through the entire tube of product which says a lot. The product features a mix of AHAs and BHAs and I love using it when my skin gets congested, when I've worn too much make-up and my pores aren't happy, when I am prone to breakouts or whenever I feel like my skin looks dull. I experienced no irritation from it and every single time I use it I wake up to fresh looking skin, reduced inflammation and it manages to calm down any potential breakouts. I use this lotion as prevention right now, about once a week, the BHA works so well if you are prone to blemishes or clogged pores. The only problem with this lotion is that I started experiencing anxiety when I noticed how close I am to finishing it.

The Soft Peel Mask 5% Glycolic Acid is an exfoliating mask that features both AHAs and BHAs combined with two different kinds of clay, I use this mask before any event, when I need my skin to be at its best. The mask manages to soothe, exfoliate, brighten and refresh skin leaving it glowing and radiant. It's so amazing that all my girlfriends rushed to the drugstore looking to grab some for themselves after a night of manis and masks at my place. Yes, I enroll my friends in product testing.

I have now incorporated the GlycoLaser Soft Peel  5% Glycolic Acid Night Cream into my night care routine to help keep my skin nice and happy and gently help it with that whole process of shedding those dead skin cells. The cream is very gentle and while it doesn't give me the same magical results as the Lotion or Mask it works gently, my skin is refreshed and hydrated. I typically use this bad boy two to three nights a week depending on what I feel my skin needs or what other treatments I happen to be trying at the same time. The brand also has a stronger version of this, the Soft Peel 10% Glycolic Acid Night Cream which I am saving for later in the year after I build tolerance to it and possibly after the summer when I tend to spend a lot more time in the sun.
Speaking of the sun, it is crucial to wear sunscreen during any sort of treatments with Glycolic Acid. We all know how important sunscreen is in preventing skin cancer and most skincare experts refer to is as the best anti aging treatment through prevention but you need to keep in mind that any exfoliating treatment will leave your skin more vulnerable to the harmful rays, so make sure you always protect your skin no matter the season.

All in all, the GlycoLaser range blew me away and took me by surprise. The products perform. I've never had these many good skincare days in ages. Simple as that.
