Yves Rocher Holiday 2015 Collection

With Christmas less than a week away I gave one more holiday release to share with you. I originally wanted to post this as a video (my first) but I got cold feet and decided to come back to my good old blog and put videos on my 2016 resolution list. I need to figure out this video editing business and upgrade my laptop for that.
I actually think this post might be perfect for that last minute holiday shopping inspiration, most of the items are reasonably priced and readily available in most shopping centers. This Yves Rocher holiday release includes both make-up and skin care along with some lovely bath products, and who doesn't love a good bath in the winter? For bath and skincare items most fragrances are very festive, think caramelized apples, spices and warm vanilla and include a nice variety of bath oils, body lotions, shower gels and even candles. The make-up initially surprised me, I found the color choices rather bizzare for a winter collection. The nail polishes and eye pencils features pastels, traditionally released with spring and summer collections. Then I stated playing with the colors and I suddenly got it... the textured pastel nail polishes are absolutely brilliant and very season appropriate. I am pastel-for-winter convert! Check out a few goodies from the release down below.

QUO 2015 Holiday Collection

QUO has quite the holiday line-up for this year and I have a few goodies to share with you today. The packaging, as per usual with QUO, is a hit. You won`t even need wrapping paper with these items as they all feature that fuchsia gold pattern combination. This is just a part of the entire collection so I recommend you head over to your local Shoppers Drug Mart or Pharmaprix to see the entire range.
The cool thing with this collection is that it has a nice mix of items that can be gifted on their own as well as little kits that can be taken apart for stocking stuffers.
I would recommend all the lip and nail products, the brushes and brush kits. The palettes might be a great gift for young or inexperienced make-up beginners as they have a decent selection of shadows, cheek and lip products although they lack in pigmentation department which can be a good thing for a beginner.

QUO Lips All Around ($25.00)

QUO Back to Basics Eyeshadow Palette in New Nudes ($30.00)

QUO Cosmetic Cracker Set ($20.00)

QUO Eye Focus ($25.00)

QUO Face Forward Face and Eye Kit ($35.00)

QUO Contouring Craze Deluxe Contour Kit ($30.00)

QUO by Orly Perfectly Painted 12 Piece Mini Nail Lacquer Set ($35.00)
