Part of the new ExtraLasting collection from Avon includes a new line of ExtraLasting lipsticks of course. These lipsticks are supposed to be long wearing, up to 24 hours (for real???) infused with vitamin E and wheat protein and have a "high definition" colour. The two shades I have are Fiery Red and Pink Peach.
Generally the wear and feel of the lipsticks are great. I mean, I was really impressed with Avon. The colour pigmentation is beautiful, rich and opaque and glides across the lips efortlessly. It feels light and hydrating, it's really impressive to such an amount of colour be delivered in such a light formula.
The wear is good, of course it didn;t last for 24 hours as it claims, why do companies even make this claim? It stays on really well during the day but it does fade away if you were to eat and drink. It doesn;'t feather or travel, nor does it setlle in lines or empshasizes flakiness and other imperfection.
Fiery Red
This colour is stunning. A beautiful coral red that got me compliments all day long. It really brightens up the face and it's a dream to apply and wear.
Pink Peach
This is a pretty summer color, gorgeous coral pink with a pearlescent finish; not my style but I still enjoyed wearing it. It's not as stunning as the Fiery Red it's a lot softer in terms of colour payoff while still performing beautifully.
Overall these lipsticks managed to impress me. They perform well, have no weird taste, texture or smell and the colours are really pretty.
